I'm using an Epson R2400 for my printing. Epson inks, Epson drivers, Epson paper, some Hahnemuhle paper. I was just printing on roll paper when I got an error message on the status monitor telling me that certain parts in my printer are reaching the end of their useful life and I should check the documentation in my owner's manual. There is nothing in the manual about this error message. What parts, why doesn't it tell me which parts are at the end of their life so I can order them and repair the thing? Does anyone know anything about this error message? The printer is behaving as wonderfully as it always has with absolutely no sign of anything being amiss. I bought the printer new from Epson in September of 2005 so it's not that old. I have 1280's that are much older (5 or 6 yrs) that haven't given me that kind of message. So far Epson hasn't answered my question to their tech support. I would appreciate any help at all. Thanks, Evelyn
