Ink/paper survey

2002-01-23 by Michael A. Schwarz

Hi folks,

I would like to solicit your help in compiling a non-scientific survey of
what ink/paper combinations people have had success with. Your help by
answering the questions at bottom is greatly appreciated.

The goal is to collect statistics on successful combinations of ink/paper
to help people narrow their testing to a smaller subset of ink/paper
combinations There is no commercial intent in compiling these numbers.
Your e-mails will not be distributed in any way. Results will be posted
here in about two weeks. Please respond to me at Estrt@.... This
is an address that will only be in use for this poll for about a week.
This survey is being posted at "Epson-Inkjet" and
"DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint" mailing lists.

Please answer the questions as they apply to photographic output.

Please answer each question for both B&W and Color output if the answers
would be different.

Here is a sample question:

(SAMPLE ONLY- DO NOT RESPOND) What is the printer/ink/paper combination
that you use for most of your photographic output?

Epson 1280/ Niagara Continuous Flow Ink System with Enhanced Generations
G4 ink/ Somerset Photo Enhanced Paper, for both B&W and color

Do you use any type of protective spray? No
Who constructed your profiles? Self-generated using Monaco EZColor
