Sure, I'd love to buy a 3800, but my Finance Minister would not go for that right now. But I've found a little-used (but still being used regularly) Epson 3000 I could buy at a good price. I'm currently using MIS EZ inks in an Epson C84 and really like the results. My question is: will the results of using the large-drop 3000 compare favorably to the C84 results? I'm sure a 16x20 would look great, but how about a 7x10 on A4 paper?

Using Epson 3000 and MIS B&W inks - still a viable option?
