I don't use this system and don't have a particular solution, but this
comment sent up some huge warning flags...
K7 inks are not compatible with any glossy surfaces at this time. Any
profiles that came with QTR for any of those papers are not configured
for the K7 inks set and bound to create a myriad of problems.

ONLY use the proper and specific K7 profiles for the specific printer,
paper, and ink set you have installed. QTR comes with many, but a
small minority are for your setup. Any made for color inksets will
surely not work.
I'm not saying this will solve your problems, but it will certainly help.
The K7 ink set will only work on matte surface fine art type papers,
and will surely puddle or run off photo type surfaces.
