Digital BW, The Print

I would much apprecite if somene could help me to understand which rendering intent 
(perceptual vs relative/absolute calorimetric) to choose when converting black and white files 
from ProPhoto RGB  to a "grayscale 2.2" space?  
Also, should I select the "use black point compensation" option in the "Convert to profile" 
dialog box?
