Digital BW, The Print

I've copied the C88 ICC profiles from the zip file into Win\System\Color per the instructions from 'Making a B&W ICC with a Scanner'. However, at print time in PS6, after selecting any one of the C88 ICC profiles from the list, I get the error message'"Can't print xyz.tiff because ICC profile is Invalid", instead of the print. Any troubleshooting suggestion(s) would as always be much appreciated.
