Well, Eric, back in the day when I was an avid fly fisherman I periodically fished a stream 
that I KNEW didn't have a single trout in it.  Nevertheless, I cast and floated that dry fly just 
perfectly past a boulder and the virtual trout was hooked.  Without a doubt.

But you're right, at dinner time, there was something missing.
