Digital BW, The Print

I use the older Syder Color Sync system for my Toshiba P15 WS laptop running 
XP. The Spyder's profile is created and my monitor is automatically switched 
from Adobe1998 to the new profile.

Do I use the new profile for all of my workflow machines? The printer, 
scanner and computer and say farewell to Adobe1998?
