Hi Mark- I've never switched a CIS from one ink to another, but have read that it is crazy to try to flush the carts. You can flush the tubes fairly easily and buy virgin carts (NoMoreCarts doesn't sell direct any longer, so go to inkjetart.com or niagara). The only MIS ink that works with Piezo is FS. It works perfectly, the results are just a little more toward neutral (no greenies, though I never really had a problem there). If you don't want to take the trouble to clean the tubes, the MIS inks are enough cheaper to pay for a new CIS in no time. Good luck, Tom O'Connell TomOC@... www.thomasoconnell.com --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@y..., Mark Romine <klick3@g...> wrote: > Within a couple weeks or so I should be nearing the end of the current > supply of Cone Piezo B&W inks and I am thinking about switching to > something else in the MIS line.
