RE: [Digital BW] Re: Lightroom

Dave, I have had great response from the tech people. Unfortunately, most of
the problems are not my error or a program error, it just wasn't designed
with those features : (

And by those I mean the ones that I NEED. What files are not being imported
after scan? Particular profiles? File type or size?

Subject: [Digital BW] Re: Lightroom

I am very displeased with Lightroom.

On a relatively fast (Intel DuoCore, 4GB RAM) PC it runs like a dog. It
locks up frequently (ie., the UI becomes completely non-responsive, scroll
bars don't move, the dreaded "Not Responding" message appears, etc.) and
sometimes just terminates itself out of the blue -- POOF, it is no longer
running.

I also have problems importing my multiple folders of scans. This could be
"pilot error" but none of the obvious methods do a complete job.

I have not tried contacting Adobe support -- based on other reports this
could be another exercise in futility.

Dave.
