I'm moving from China back to Belgium, and my printer will be transported by ship. It will be picked up with the rest of my things and will be on the ship for about six weeks. I still have most of the original packing, so I will have it in it's bag, plus it's foam and box, and even some of the original tape used by Epson to seal it! The moving company will also crate it, to protect it. My main question relates to the inks. Should the inks be removed for this trip, or should they remain in place? Epson advises that after a long period of the printer being unused, that the inks should be removed, given a few shakes and replaced (redistributes the ink). This suggests, that if the printer was at home, I would have been expected to leave the inks in. When the printer is turned on, the nozzle clean would then ensure no clogs. Should they stay in place or be removed...I'm currently on the side of keeping them in place... Anybody have a similar experience or recommendation. Many Thanks, K
