Alistair, that's the first half of the steps you need to take! On either a Mac or PC you'll have to go into the Print Driver dialog (they look different on different platforms) and turn OFF Printer Color Management! It will usually appear as ICC OFF, or some such variation! If you don't turn it off here, as well as Bert's suggestion in the Print w Preview window, you'll still have two devices trying to color manage your prints and the results will be horrid:( Good luck, if you've more questions email me off list and I'll help you out.
