I emailed the Bauhaus people about these nice jazz prints and Joe wrote me with the info I was looking for. The 30x40s were printed in Crane Silver Rag with their "TrueBW" printing rip. http://www.bowhaus.com/news/successstory.php4 For those prints they used an 8 color Roland printer with a custom set of MIS K4 & UT-3D inks. Like the Bill Brandt show last year, this nice job will put this technology up in ranking of collectors of fine monochrome imaging. It certainly is nice to see it happening on such a big scale like this, with big prices to boot. Of course the unbelievably fine and unparalled body of work and super negs helped make it historically significant in more ways than one. This was a nice marraige, and I just love that show. john --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, James Irelan <james@...> wrote: > > John, > > Thanks for the alert that this show is out there.
