Digital BW, The Print

Hi,
I'm finding that printing text in fast black only mode on my Epson 2100 is causing repeated clogging - so I'm wasting ink doing cleaning cycles before printing photos.

Does anyone have advice about how to avoid this? I wondered if doing text on slow speed might help.
