Re: [Digital BW] New Paper from Hahnemuhle

Different weight, different manufacturer, different distribution,
different likelihood of corporate survival. Inkjet papers rarely have
identical surfaces, even with identical nomenclature (Pearl Vs
"pearl", gloss Vs gloss).

Harmon says it's "fibre based" but doesn't specify cotton or
alpha-cellulose...it also specifies treatment to avoid curl.

Hahnemuhle specifies alpha-cellulose, which in my experience with only
two brands doesn't curl...but curl might be an issue with baryta
rather than with the base. Certainly non-RC baryta-coated silver paper
does curl, and RC doesn't.

Kodabromide, Brovira, Ilfobrom, and Oriental all had same base and
baryta, but they were distinctively different. Things aren't always as
they seem in press releases.
