Digital BW, The Print

I've had what appears to be the exact same problem with the Epson 3800, 
Museo Silver Rag, bulk paper feeder: i.e. paper swing and ghosting 
during the last quarter inch, clicking noise, etc. I found this problem 
mainly with the larger papers (13x19 and 17x22). May have found a 
solution: the Museo Silver Rag has a very slight curl at the corners. 
Before loading the paper, I gently fold back each edge, so the corners 
have a backward curl. So far, this is working. I've not had this feeding 
problem with other papers. Good luck.
