James, Before printing, I always wipe my Photo Rag vigorously with an old soft white T-shirt, and haven't had any nicks or flicks in a long time. If I need to touch up, I make a small print on a glossy substrate such as mylar. The ink stays wet, and I use a 00 brush to transfer the ink from the exact spot on the small wet print to my big print. You don't have to guess to get a perfect match. Good luck.
