Walker, Your point is not the same as what I describe below. And I don't know whether it's the same as Mike Askew's. The marking I see is not from the little black wheel rollers after inking but from broader rollers prior to inking which pull a sheet from the stack and feeds it print-face outwards to the print head. Mike - which is yours? If it's the same as Walkers then his suggestion may help. But if it's the same as mine then ... we're stuffed! [Technical term]. A call to Epson maybe called for. (I have 9600s so not sure if this effects other printers) It's caused by the little black wheels that roll along the surface of the print after it's been printed. I've noticed that curly rolls are effected the most for the first few inches because they are curled upwards and push against these small wheels.
