Michael: I get the same 9800 marks on the Innova Gloss paper in the summer time when humidity is high (never any issues in the winter). That coating really seems to be sensitive to humidity issues. In a pinch, I have let the roll sit in front of an air conditiner for a few hours and that seems to "dry it out" enough to print on.
