I always use 2880 uni-directional with QTR and whatever printer I'm using. It's slow but the dmax is usually better and quality is great. QTR offers so many printing resolution options that I don't know where to begin. I'll mostly be printing on 8.5 x 11 matte paper. I'm after quality. I'm not particulary interested in saving ink, but I don't want to use settings which will result in "overkill." (This is my first week with QTR so any help would be very much appreciated).
