Paul and Mark, Thanks for the suggestions! I do have the latest Cone plug-in and the banding does occur in the Epson driver, but not as noticeably I assume because of the difference in dpi. I'm relieved that no one thinks it is because of the loss of all the pizza-cutter wheels. From your comments, it sounds like this may not be a printhead issue, which is also good news (trying to be positive here...). On the other hand, what can be done about crummy transport?
