I printed a 21 Step Tablet with the Piezo BW24Pro (The Piezo RIP for the 7000) using the MIS variable tone inks. The result was smooth continuous tone steps (sounds like an oxymoron) with no dots. There were blue toner spikes at the two locations of those inks as one would expect. It becomes quite obvious that one can use the MIS inks with the Piezo BW24Pro RIP. I would also think that the same inkset would work with the standard Piezo drivers. If anyone is interested, I have a copy of the ConeTech Piezography Software I purchased for my 3000. I sold the 3000 and got the 7000. This software runs on the Epson 760, 800, 850, 860, 1160, 1520 & 3000. You can contact me off of the list for details. I really no longer have use for it.
