I recently received an Epson 2200 as a gift from a person who had given up trying to unclog the magenta nozzle(s). It had been sitting for several months before she gave it to me. After researching this group and other sites, I got some blue Windex, heated it to just below boiling in a microwave, then used a syringe to pump it directly into the magenta intake spike. I used a small drill bit to bore out the syringe tip fit directly onto the spike. It took several tries, but there was progress on each attempt, and the printer is working fine. As an aside... Thanks to advice/help from Paul Roark, I've been able to load this 2200 with the same R2W (plus LK) inkset that I use in my 220. I finished profiling it today, and it's spitting out (it's first with this inkset - yea it works!) a very nice print as I write this. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "bard960" <bard960@...> wrote: > > I did not use my Epson C86 for about 6 months.
