Re: [Digital BW] Re: Looking for Refillable Epson-type carts

I was hesitant to install another CSI ( my R2400 and 1280) but have since I used the one I am referring you to (R-2400). It works great for me. Contact

With all that's going on, is there any consensus on who makes the
longest lasting, least troublesome, spongeless carts for the Epson
  desk-top printers, such as the 2400, 2200, 1280, 1160, etc.? I'd like
to buy a quantity, and start filling my own carts, but to not want to
install another CIS system, which worked very well on my 1160 a few
years back (with Piezo inks), but as soon as I started printing less
  often, clogs
became an issue, which would not be there by using cartridges.

The collective knowledge of this group is just fantastic - I can't
think of any printing issue that hasn't been resolved here, and hope
  this doesn't stop us!

BTW, Jon Cone just sent out a note which I received last evening,
with the names and phone numbers of US official(s) as well as some
  excellent
discussion points which can be used in letters to them. There still
may be a glimmer of hope that they will turn down Epson's request.
  I'm about to
write and ask him to cross post it.
