RE: [Digital BW] Piezo MPS in R2400.

2007-12-09 by David Whistance

Hi, I haven't used MPS but I have used the other K6/K7 inks in several
printers. As far as I know at the moment MPS works just like any of the
other K7 inksets and uses their QTR profiles. The GLOP channel, which will
allow this inkset to print onto glossy media hasn't been profiled by Cone
yet so the GLOP is not on general release, although if you want to profile
it yourself I think it is available by special request. As the ink
dilutions are the same as the other K7 inks I don't think you need to be
concerned about them, they work very well for matte papers, the only
question is really whether you like the "selenium" tone.

Subject: [Digital BW] Piezo MPS in R2400.

Hi, I've already post this question in QTR thread, but actually should
be here the right place. Has already anyone tried the new inks
diluitions from J. Cone in a R2400? I'm waiting for the empty CIS from
Eifillink, Piezo MPS sounds to be perfect for my works, -90% Matte
papers, 10% HPRag pearl-, but if the issue is just the patience and
care to profile the papers myself, that's pretty fine. My worry is
about the state of diluitions for each channels, are they ready to be
sold as they are, apart from the profiles? Any suggestions? Inkjetmall
support seems to be too busy, and the local Piezography reseller (Milan-
Italy) isn't so precise about the reasons. Any help from the real world
  users will be great! Thanks.
