Although it is difficult to tell from a description it sounds like a roller mark. Try cleaning the rollers and see if the marks disappear. The area is about 1 " from the last end printed and approximately 3/4 inch in from the edge of the paper on the "button" side of the printer. It consists of smallish darkish specks. This isn't the ink blobs that I've had a few times. At first glance it looks like a smudge. Anyone have an idea as to what this could be and what might be done about it?
