One practice, and there are many, is to hang prints so that at eye height, whatever you decide that to be, about 2/3 of the image is below eye height and 1/3 above. When I do this I tend to want more of a 3/4 1/4 ratio. I also tend to hand the smallest print I have like this and then line up the tops of the frames for the rest.
