It's easy.  I have friends that use it, and are always asking questions.  So, I try to be able to answer them.  In the end I don't really use much of Elements of PS.  I do all of my serious processing Nikon NX.

Neither Microsoft or Adobe will have anything to do with this problem. Adobe
did send one suggestion, but it was useless. Maybe I'll try pulling some
memory out and see what happens.

Have you read the post today by Goldner_Jeff, who says Elements 4 worked 
with 2GB RAM but not when he updated to 6GB, but Elements 6 works fine!! 
Might be worth having words with him.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
