RE: [Digital BW] TrueGrain and FilmPack

2008-02-18 by Eric Neilsen

I briefly tried the film pack and have no experience with True Grain. AS I
recall it was ok, but since I already have the Imagenomic full set, I could
not see a reason to buy it. I have been a very happy Real Grain user for a
year ½.

Subject: [Digital BW] TrueGrain and FilmPack

I was wondering if anybody here has any experience with either Grubba
Software's TrueGrain
and/or DxO's FilmPack for replicating back & white film grain on digital
captures. If you've
used both, do you have a preference? TrueGrain retails for $300, FilmPack is
$99. Thanks.
