The Woolf curves are for FS inks, not the MIS VM inks.

I suspect most of us scan B&W film to get out files for printing.  I'm not
sure is this is what you were asking, but a good film scanner is all it
takes.  At reasonable price levels, the film and scanner route probably gets
you better images than the digital cameras.
