Eddie, Thanks for the reply. It helped a lot. Actually I went back on the MIS site this morning and did a little more poking around and found that they refer to the UT2 inkset as being made for the 1280. Taking them at their word I cancelled my FS order and ordered the UT@ Eboni set of 4oz bottles. I like the printer but just need to do more work with it. Also, I really primarily interested in printing in either sepia or as warm as I can go. My work is either HIE IR or converted color to B/W of rural Louisiana and the French Quarter here in New Orleans. Thanks again...Mike --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Eddie Wiseman" <pahts@...> wrote: > > I've been using the UT-2 inks with great success IMHO... > You can go from sepia to warm to neutral to cold either with Paul Roark's curves , or QTR..One inksest that does all your B&W with the 1280.. > > Eddie > ----- Original Message ----- > From: mbrouphy > To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Tuesday, March 25, 2008 11:10 PM > Subject: [Digital BW] Epson 1280 Inkset for Warm Tone Prints > > > I have a 1280 and have been using the UT inks for printing.
