Digital BW, The Print

What are people using to coat canvas, both for protection and to all a
little sheen and pop?  

I've tried Breathing Colour Glamour II, but it is pricey and seems to
need 3 coats (rolled) to cover.  Could be my dilution or technique, I
guess.  

Suggestions would be appreciated.
