I usually sit in the background and learn from all the good discussion here. As a result of this, I've just started experimenting with Jon Cone's neutral K7 inks. Like a recent poster, I've been getting better prints with EEM, which I use as a proofing paper, over the HPR which I prefer to use. In my case, I find the HPR prints somewhat too dark, and in some cases the prints are actually wavy in the inked area. Does this mean (as I suspect) that the canned QTR K7 profile isn't working for my printer, and that I need to work on ink limits? Is this likely solely an ink limits thing, or could linearization be a factor too? All this is pretty new to me (I was using ABW and K3 inks before), and the new settings are just a little befuddling. Thanks in advance, -Gary Gervin
