If I were buying one I'd be tempted to go for one of the packages that includes the printer spectrocolorimeter as well as the monitor colorimeter however - Printfix Pro Suite (with the Spyder 2) is now discounted and is not much more than the Spyder 3 ... but the new Spyder 3 Studio package that replaces the Printfix Pro Suite looks very good with the later monitor colorimeter - the Spyder 3.

You pay more but again, you get a printer profiler too. A few custom profiles soon add up in cost.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
