No, The Ilford Gold Fibre Silk, is not a pearl surface! It has a baryta coated paper that is supposed to be reminiscent of the old air-dried fiber papers. Actually the printed image from an HP Z3100 looks quite beautiful (using gloss equalizer) with a very good d-Max in 2.5 range.
