Sammy, I guess my number one observation would be that there is no substitute for seeing for yourself. Tha is what made the worksop so special. I would guess there have not been many gatherings with such variety. That is why I wanted to thank those that contributed. With that said, I'll give it a shot: There are alot of ways to produce a great print. I was very impressed by the Z3100 output. This was my first opportunity to see anything printed on the HP. The K6 on the 1400 produced highlights like I have not seen before. The K6 prints were all very smooth and beautiful. On the right picture, it was really noticable. Paul's Ebonbi 6 prints were beautiful with his work. I was impressed by how quickly people who were not familiar with QTR were up and running and making really nice prints including split tones. My personal favorite examples were Tyler's prints from his dual quad set. But in fairness, Tyler was showing completed work as opposed to examples. What I came away with is the idea that each person has to find the right combination for their work. Nothing new there.
