I'm getting set up to use Paul's 3MK approach with my R1800 and noted that MIS recommends first using cleaning fluid in those three positions to clear ink from the lines. Should I use MIS-Fluid-4 or ESC-BASE-4-UC? Right now I'm using MIS-Fluid-4 in the color positions of my R220 where I do BO printing. It's a lot cheaper to keep the color carts filled with that fluid and besides I think it helps keep my printer clean every time I power up. So I already have that fluid on hand... I was thinking of moving three of those carts (changing chips of course) over to the R1800 for the flushing operation. Or - should I be using the ESC-BASE-4-UC, which I understand is more concentrated that the MIS-Fluid-4. Finally, how does one go about "flushing"? Exactly what do I do after I get those carts in place? Run a nozzle check? a purge? how many times?
