The one year warranty is about to expire on my refurbished R1800. I'm fully invested in Paul's 3MK system, and am using color for matte prints, too. Now that it's discontinued, I'm weary of moving to another model. I was going to sell mine, and get a new refurbished one, but maybe $60 for another 2 years of warranty would be worth it. I don't know if my use of some 3rd party inks will be an issue, or if they will someday try to give me another model (R1900?) if mine breaks. Thoughts?
