Digital BW, The Print

Hi all,

As my 2100 seems to come in its terminal phase, I am planning an 
extensive upgrade of my "printer fleet". Next to a 44" dedicated B&W 
setup discussed in another thread, I'm considering an Epson 3800+CIS. I 
will go for a standard full-color ink setup, most likely driving it 
with QTR for B&W prints.

For the CIS, I've seen some good reviews of this one:

Any experience? Any other suggestions?


For the inks: MIS Eboni for matt black goes with saying. But for the 
other gray, photo black and color inks: are the MIS inks any better 
than any other? Note that the MIS inks have to shipped to Europe. I can 
buy Epson compatible bulk inks on the corner of very street here. Is 
there any need to get them shipped form the US? Any pointers for good 
bulk inks in Europe/Netherlands?

My guess is that I can simply can ask for a test report on the inks. If 
there's none available it tells sufficient....
