Digital BW, The Print

Ok, I hope you guys have and idea of this topic,

If I make a digital print ( to be on target using epson 3800,4800 or
7600 ).

can I use a mount press? did you guys recommended? if I do, only for
roll paper? did I need to used a fiber paper? or photo or matt is ok?
last question if is necessary? what do I win or losse?
