Hi, from time to time my 2100 drips ink - and often running a cleaning cycle fixes the problem, even though there is no banding. Wiping the head with a cloth by running it back and forth over the cloth or paper towel also works, but then you have to do lots of cleaning cycles because this induces banding. My question is: why would a cleaning cycle reduce the problem of ink drips? Or is it just a happy coincidence that I've experienced? thanks, Richard -- http://smallfield.vze.com "Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe." --H. G.
