I agree that getting the data out of the program area is a good idea, too bad MS is "forcing" me to do what I've done for years--no sense backing up program files when all you really want to back up is data. (You image the programs once.) But it makes me crazy that Vista will only do a slide show on files that are in the pre-mandated "photos" directory. It won't recognize the directory name "photos" if it's under a user-created tree.
