Thanks for the help, it is working now, however I tested it on a brand new cartridge. When this one runs out, I will switch back to the "faulty" one to make sure that it is indeed the air intake plug problem. On another note, the Eboni works perfectly with Claria inks. The workflow is also very simple, no icc in the image at all. I just select the BO curve in QTR for EEM and the default print is more of less WYSIWYG. Slight tuning from the Gamma and Ink sliders makes the print more representative. Banding is a problem though. Larger prints (8x10) do exhibit slight banding towards the initial part of the print. I have not gone through extra cleaning cycles to try to fix it yet. Any advises on getting rid of banding? It is a brand new 1400 so I reckon clog head is not the problem yet. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "pr_roark" <pr_roark@...> wrote: > > > > ... which one is the air intake plug? > > There are 2 plugs a black rubber one with a flap > > that is at the lower end of the cartridge > > (looking from the top) and a transparent rubber plug > > that is above the black flappy plug. > > Remove the one with the flap that is closest to the end of the cart. > It's the air intake.
