Hi Josef. There is what appears to be a clear plastic ribbon that passes through a slot and sensor on the print head as the head travels. Check to see if it is out of position as this would cause your error. It is very easy to move it about, if paper ever gets jammed around the print head carriage or something pushed through the paper path is curled and strikes it. Regards.
