Re:Help with Choosing New Scanner

2008-09-06 by ben schneider

I purchased a V750 PRO last year. It is not a drum scanner, but it does very easily scan B&W and color negatives. For only $750, I think it does very well, especially with hard to scan color negatives.

On the down side. I think the Epson scanner seems cheap; plastic. Everything seems light duty, armature. I have a ICG drum scanner, and two Polaroid (35mm, and 4x5) scanners and think their quality better. But then they cost much more, and take much more intelligence, and time to use.

I purchased the Epson for EASY, and easy it is. Too bad Epson didn't put more quality into the substance of that product.
