I was actually going to suggest looking for their test image that comes with the Print Fix Pro program. I'm referring to their test image for choosing paper settings if you don't have the soft/hardware yet. It is an image composed of many small colored squares with black and primary colors in the corners. You can print four to a page and their help section discusses evaluating the different papers essentially in terms of blockage in the shadows and bleed over. Not absolutely foolproof, and as Paul mentions in his article not all papers will correspond perfectly with any of the Epson settings, but I found it a great help, mostly in terms of eliminating settings quickly from consideration.
