You're probably right that it's air in the outlets. You might try priming the carts to pull the air out. I use a modified MIS bottom fill adapter on a syringe to do this. See http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Modified-Bottom-Fill-Adapter.pdf Keep an eye out for clogs also. You have a lot of high load inks in that machine along with binder (glossy inks and glop). If it turns out to be a problem, consider a physical arrangement that has a cleaning cart between the MK and PK.
