The safe route is to always use cleaning carts between inks, and they are handy things to have around. MIS is very concerned, in particular, about putting Eboni-6 in a printer that has had UltraChrome in it -- unless cleaning carts have been used. So, there most be some potential for trouble with other inksets. So, bottom line, I recommend cleaning carts (even though I'm guilty of ingoring my own recommendations sometimes).
