With R800 (dwarf cousin of R1800) force feeding was EXTREMELY frustrating but did occasionally work... cleaning with inkjet cleaning kit was instantly successful. The kit's not just a Staples product...I think all stationary stores have something similar. The heart of the kit is tough paper that's soaked in some kind of fluid...which is probably something like Windex or ammonia. I've tossed mine after two passes, but next time I use it I'll save the paper and recharge with ammonia for a future test. I think the main virtue of the kit is the toughness and reusability of the paper...I wouldn't consider wetting and running normal paper through the machine because it falls apart (I tried). I doubt you can get at all the rollers without running cleaning paper through the machine... --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Paul Banks <failedthespian@...> wrote: > > Thanks for your suggestion.
