Not silly at all Robert. I suspect I did get a little air into the 
cartridge. It seems very hard to get the last air bubble out of the tip 
of the syringe. Perhaps I could find a better way. As far as removing 
air and ink out before putting back in printer, sounds interesting. Can 
this be done with the OEM cartridges?
